Stars ripped from the night sky
or concealed by planets
–
Still shine as bright at midnight,
for these stars can be shattered
–
But the light still remains,
Maybe not in your eyes yet it is there.
–
The Dove will fly to these stars,
showing their luminescence to the ones who love
–
With faith, belief, and mercy,
Just know, you cannot take the light from stars.

The stars represent the people of the Middle East, most commonly targeted towards Palestinians due to the Israel-Palestine conflict. Being “ripped” out of the sky or overshadowed by planets symbolizes bigger powers, bigots, and elitists in our world that oppress and cause tyranny. The faith and spirit of the Palestinians will never be erased, no matter what oppression they are put under. The Dove symbolizes God, for he will save the martyrs and those who repent. God stands with Palestine and every other country in the Middle East who was taken advantage of.
