To put it bluntly, I have never been a good writer.
I have a tough time conveying my ideas and putting them down on paper or digital documents. Even though English is my first language, I still have difficulty configuring sentences and organizing paragraphs. Possibly, this struggle could be due to the endless flow of ideas in my head. It is a mystery to me, but I have come to accept it; we all have strengths and weaknesses. My writing is a work in progress.
Because writing has never come easy to me, I do not particularly enjoy it, but I still write in hopes of improving and receiving constructive feedback. Coming from high school, I now understand that college writing is different. Maybe I will be better at college writing. Though, my biggest challenges in writing would be formality, sentence structure, and organization. The good news is I have an inspirational sister who is a fantastic writer. She corrects me and encourages me to keep trying, and one day, I will write a piece that will make everyone and, most importantly, myself proud.
